At the crossroads of the refined and bold worlds is where Overload Studios finds a synergy of inspiration, style and imagination. We strongly believe that the encounter of the three result in the creation of fine, feminine jewelry, with an edge. 

Founder and Creative Director Jeanine Tebbe, a self-taught designer and stylist, has always been busy with ‘making things pretty’. From a young age she's had a special interest in jewelry design and gemstones and has been collecting both ever since. Born into a family of creative ‘makers and doers’ and with a background in the fashion industry she found herself constantly 'overloaded’ with ideas and possible concepts. In 2014, encouraged by friends and family she started her own label. Obviously naming it was easy.

One of her favorite quotes is “I’ve found that you’ve got to look at the old things and see them in a new light.” by John Coltrane. She particularly takes inspiration from vintage jewelry and art objects, and tries to ‘reinvent’ the classic silhouettes by giving them a smart, modern twist. 

Her references often come from the universe. Her take on the impressive shapes of the cosmos created a unique aesthetic and signature style, a fusion of the past and the future.

Designing timeless shapes with an unusual twist has become a core part of Overload Studios’s creations. The delicate, distinctive pieces combine semi- and precious stones with 14kt gold or sterling silver, giving a refined but artful feel. Modern jewels that are meant as an extension of you.
